I'm playing on ST. LOUIS (1* BLUE MARLIN). The Cards, 18-10 (+4.8) off a loss, are heavy favorites for good reason here. Weaver has a solid 3.79 ERA and 1.059 WHIP in six home starts. On the other hand, Lauer has a 6.46 ERA and 2.07 WHIP in five road starts. In other words, Lauer allows roughly twice as many baserunners on the road, as Weaver does at home. Throw in the fact that the Cards are also the better hitting team and it all adds up to a convincing victory to close out the series.
