I'm playing DETROIT on the run-line. (2* SPECIAL, +1.5 runs) Getting an extra +1.5 runs with the Tigers at a pick'em price is offering excellent value. The Tigers are 5-1 when Fiers is on the mound, here at home. They've won each of his last three starts overall. Last time out, he limited the Yankees to two runs. The previous start, he held the Angels to onlly one. Also, Fiers is 3-1 with a 2.22 ERA in five starts vs. Cleveland. Meanwhile, Clevinger has a poor 5.00 ERA his last three starts. The Indians are only 2-3 on the season, when he starts on the road. Yesterday notwithstanding, the Indians haven't been very good overall on the road. I like the Tigers' chances of winning this one outright, but will happily grab the extra +1.5 runs.
