Well here we are guys, Six games into the conference finals and thus far every single game has been decided by double digits. Crazy and frankly other than for the bettors has made for some really boring playoff action for the casual fans. Will this finally be a competitive game or just more of the same? With the post season trending as it is seems the safe play is King James and company and another huge win at home. Kind of weird isn't it that the odds makers kept the number at the same spot as the last game. Joe Public will likely not look to buck the trend and take the Cavaliers here once again at home. Hard to take issue with the thought process considering how this thing has been playing out. I am being a bit contrarian here and taking Boston plus the points. I think, honestly, the last game was a wake up call for this young Celtics team. Not just the loss but the ass kicking they took had to be salt in the wound. They simply did not defend like the first two games and paid dearly for it. They said all the right things but talk is cheap. They got taken to school. I will be shocked if this next game is not the most competitive game in the conference finals yet. The Cavaliers of course look invincible when knocking down the three pointers but call me stubborn but I still don't trust this team to cover two games straight. I do not expect the same shooting performance here in this game four against a Boston team that surely will turn it up on the defensive end. I also don't expect the same cold shooting from the Celtics. Perfect storm last game for Cleveland. I also expect the veteran Horford to be more of a factor down in the post. Likewise with Morris who can do his work down in the paint as well from outside. We can break this thing down match up by match up and every time I see the Celtics answering the bell here. This game just screams out to me close battle that could get real chippy down the stretch. I will take Boston here and the points. I think we FINALLY have a game Joe Public will stay tuned into to the end with good reason. Not going money line but I do love the points. Triple Star Rabid Dog here on Boston to cover our number.
