Cleveland's defense was exposed in the first two games of the series in Boston, as even though the Celtics currently lack some great offensive talent, they explore all the possible mismatches that they have against Cleveland's poor individual defense. The area where the Cavs will be able to improve will be on offense, where I believe the home factors may be a boost. In Game 2, their starting backcourt scored a combined of 3 points while shooting 1-11 FG. Their coach Tyron Lue hinted that Cleveland will try to play faster:
"We want to change it up with him being able to attack the bigs [that get switched onto him] and being aggressive, playing with more pace, miss or makes, getting the ball in fast, running to our drags, double drags and just playing with more speed and pace," Lue said.
I believe this will be especially visible in the first half of tonight's game, so we can expect a fast tempo for tonight, with Cleveland's offense improving via their perimeter players, while Boston will continue to explore Cleveland's poor individual defense. So, I'll be taking the First Half Over in here.
