Analysis

2-star (578) NC STATE -1.5 over Louisville. 6:00pm ET. Huge letdown spot for Louisville here as they are off arguably the most heart-breaking loss of any team in college basketball this season. On Thursday night, Louisville led No. 1 Virginia by double-digits in the second half. The Cardinals still led by 2 with 1 second and were in-bounding the ball but were called for traveling (almost unheard of but the correct call). Virginia then got the chance to in-bounds the ball and the Cavs would hit a 3-point bank shot at the buzzer. That was no question a 100% all-in effort for Louisville and now they're traveling on one days rest. Meanwhile, NC State is 15-3 SU at home and off a disappointing game vs Georgia Tech (blew big halftime lead). Louisville is just 5-6 SU on the road.

(576) NORTH TEXAS -6 over UTEP. 6:00pm ET. I have this game power-rated at North Texas by 8.67 so it is one of my strongest power ratings plays for today. North Texas has the much better offense (No. 201 vs No. 303), a slightly better defense (No. 163 vs No. 173) and have played the tougher schedule (157 vs No. 187). UTEP is abysmal 1-11 SU on the road.

Lean: (564) VIRGINIA -8.5 over Notre Dame. 4:00pm ET. Notre Dame is on the bubble but the Irish are getting too much love for Bonzi Colson coming back. There were limited minutes for Colson vs Pitt and he is not 100% yet in my opinion. UVA has been a bad matchup for ND as the Cavaliers are 5-1 SU/ATS vs ND the last 6 meetings. UVA is 18-7 ATS this year and have the best defense in CBB in the last 17 years! Virginia is also off a scare vs Louisville and will be motivated in their home finale. I have this game power-rated at Virginia by 11.8.

Lean: (634) UC IRVINE -6 over UC Davis. 10:30pm ET. Big game in the Big West with conference tournament seeding implications. Irvine has the much better defense (No. 36 vs No. 92) and have played the tougher schedule (No. 103 vs No. 165). Irvine is also on a 8-1 SU/ATS run in their last 9 games and are 9-0 SU/8-1 ATS in home finales. Also lean with the UNDER in this game as both teams defenses (Both Top 100) far out-rank the opposing defenses (neither in Top 185) and this is a pressure-packed game.
