The Wildcats are playing their best basketball of the season as they have won and covered 3 straight games beating the closing line by a combined 41.5 points. This recent stretch is coming on the heels of a 4-game losing streak (also 0-5 ATS) and everyone jumped off the "Big Blue" bandwagon. That has given some value to this team that looks rejuvenated and ready to make a deep run in both the SEC and NCAA Tournaments. On the other side, Ole Miss is 1-8 SU/ATS in their last 9 games and their only win and cover in that stretch came in the first game under an interim coach. You usually get a one-game bump in those situations and after the first loss (lost at home to Tennessee on Saturday), I look for the Rebels to close up shop the rest of the year. I have this game power-rated with Kentucky winning by 15.1 points as the Wildcats have the better offense (No. 43 vs No. 64) and the much better defense (No. 19 vs No. 153).
