I'm playing on PITTSBURGH (2* BEST BET). The Panthers are having a tough time these days. However, a visit from the Eagles provides reason for hope. The Panthers won at BC last season and they're dominated the Eagles over the years here at Pittsburgh. True, the Eagles are coming off an impressive 2-point win over Miami. However, they haven't won a single "lined" road game all season. Their lone win in a true road game came at Hartford, a game which didn't have a line. Now, they're being asked to lay points on the road, at a venue where they never win. I believe thats asking a lot. Too much, in fact. As of this writing, the O/U line is 139, across the board. Thats noteworthy as the Panthers are 4-0 SU the last four times that they played a home game with an O/U line in the 135 to 139.5 range. During the same period, the Eagles are 0-6 SU when playing a road game with an O/U line in that range. In a game that could easily come down to the wire, I'm grabbing the generous points with what I expect to be a highly motivated home team.
