3-star: (574) CAL-ST FULLERTON -7.5 over Cal Poly. 10:00pm ET. I have this game power-rated at Cal-St Fullerton by 13.15. We're catching value in the markets because Fullerton is 1-4 SU/ATS in their last 5 games but that was due to a tough conference schedule that included two games against the best team in the Big West in UC Santa Barbara. On the other side, Cal Poly has won 2 straight games but a lot of that is due to the fact they were a combined 22 of 37 from 3-point range in those two wins. That's Poly's best two-game stretch from beyond the arc in the entire season! Prior to their last two wins, Cal Poly was on a 5-13 SU/3-13-1 ATS run. Fullerton won the earlier meeting at Cal Poly back on January 6th 101-97 (+2) in OT. However, the game was misleading because Cal Poly shot 19 of 39 from 3-point range (Fullerton only 3 of 8 from downtown) and Fullerton was only 26 of 42 from the free throw line. I'm not expecting a repeat performance in those two categories tonight. Finally, Fullerton has the better offense (No. 176 vs No. 253), much better defense (No. 187 vs No. 307) and has played the tougher schedule (No. 116 vs No. 177).

Washington first-year head coach Mike Hopkins has the Huskies far exceeding expectations (just 9-22 last year) and they should be plenty confident here as they have won 4 straight games. The Huskies have the better defense (No. 66 vs No. 111) and have played the tougher schedule (No. 71 vs No. 113)
Lean: (587) Usc +4 over ARIZONA ST. 11:00pm ET. The Trojans are coming in off a loss at rival UCLA but prior had won 6 straight. Bennie Boatright is getting healthier for them and that should help vs an OVERRATED Arizona St team that is just 2-7-2 ATS in their last 11 games.
