First an upset over North Carolina at home and then an outright upset win at Notre Dame. Prior to those two games, the Hokies were average at 2-4 SU and were also 2-6 ATS. Meanwhile, the Eagles have lost 2 straight games on the road (just 2-7 SU on road) but are much better at home (11-1 SU) and their only SU loss, they covered vs Clemson. Keep in mind, they pulled the outright upset over Duke at home earlier this season. Finally, the Eagles have played the tougher schedule (No. 67 vs No. 107).

The Mountaineers are at a low point having lost 4 of their last 5 games and need a feel-good win here. Meanwhile, Iowa St is playing without their point guard Nick Babb here and will be facing West Virginia's press with a freshman guard. That's not ideal and even with Babb, the Cyclones are just 2-7 SU/3-6 ATS in their last 9 games.
