Too many points - there's little doubt that Auburn is the better team, but this is a fairly decent little rivalry here and means a lot more to UAB to go ahead and beat a Big Brother. UAB lost a few in the Cayman Islands, but one loss was to a decent Buffalo team in overtime, and then they lost to Iowa by ten. Those game were also three consecutive nights. Since then they've beaten Memphis badly at home and just beat a decent Troy (another rivalry) team on the road. Last year they lost to Auburn by four, and two years ago at Auburn by one. SO, they've got both motivation and confidence. Auburn lost badly to the only semi-elite team (Dayton) they've played. On paper, Auburn is very young, much smaller than UAB, doesn't shoot FT's as well, and turns the ball over more. Auburn's upside is that they'll play faster, but UAB as a pretty deep bench. In the end I see a close game, and UAB winning outright isn't far fetched.
