These two teams weren’t scheduled to play this season but because each had a game canceled due to Hurricane Irma, they are playing here. Last week FIU had a misleading blowout win over WKU. They actually trailed 17-13 and were out-FD’d and out-gained. Meanwhile, UMass comes in fresh off a bye and will use this as their bowl game. The Minutemen have won 4 of their last 5 games (only loss was close at Mississippi St). FIU is 0-5-1 ATS as a favorite and FIU has been outgained by 59 ypg in the second half of the season and despite their 7-4 record are -3 ppg while UMass at 4-7 is even in the scoring department on the season and +42 ypg.
