What appeared to be a very attractive Sunday night matchup when the schedule was announced has become a virtual “must win” for the hosts who, following a promising 3-1 start, have dropped 4 in a row, each by double digits.  Denver’s QB change from the ineffective Trevor Siemian to former Bronco Brock Osweiler proved no panacea as the Broncos managed just 266 total yards and Osweiler tossed a pair of picks.  And now they face New England off its Bye.  Despite what we saw last week in their 51-23 loss at Philadelphia, Denver still has a top notch defense.  Earlier this season they routed Dallas on this field 42-17 and now return home after three straight road games that followed a Sunday night home loss to the Giants.  New England’s offense has been rather ordinary over the past month.  In their first 4 games the Pats averaged 32 ½ points per game.  Over the last 4 the average has been just 21.8 ppg.  Unlike the Giants, who perhaps were taken lightly and set the tone for the following 3 weeks as well, Denver will not overlook the Patriots.  An upset win would not be a surprise.  Combining their defense, urgency to win and last week’s embarrassment,
