Both teams are surprising contenders to make the Playoffs and the winner of this game will have those chances greatly enhanced.  Buffalo has extra rest after losing at the Jets last Thursday.  The Bills had won 4 of 5 prior to that loss and stand 6-3.  Only Philadelphia is as hot as the Saints who, after starting 0-2, have reeled off 6 straight wins, each of which has been by 8 points or more.  Much of the reason for their success must be attributed to the play of the defense.  The Saints have held 3 straight foes and 5 of the last 6 to 17 points or less.  Both offenses can run the football and have excelled at avoiding turnovers.  And both defenses are allowing a league average 5.3 yards per play.  It might seem tempting to lay the short price with the Saints who are 5-1 ATS in their 6 game winning streak.  But Buffalo is unbeaten at home and 3-0-1 ATS in those wins which include an upset of Denver as underdogs.  This game should be more appropriately priced at pick 'em.
