I'm on the A's here today...I don't trust the Medts and I don't trust Wheeler gor for New York at all...He hasn't been very good in his last 4 or 5 games and facing an A's team off a loss spells trouble for Wheeler and the Mets....Wheeler has a 3-7 record with a 4.98 ERA....A big concern is his WHIP if 1.55....He's walking guys and allowing a bunch of hits..He also has a knack for allowing HR's as well...He has allowed 21 ER in his last 5 starts...That's not good at all and a real concern....On the other side the A's will send out Manaea...He has been very good this year and his ERA is 3.98...WHIP of 1.21....Getting 4 or more runs off him is tough...Only 1 time in his last 10 games has he given 4 or more runs...Usually Manaea gives up 2 or 3 runs....That's solid enough for me to back the A's here...Mets bullpen has been roughed up and Wheeler won't give them a ton of innings...Now my only concern for Manaea is his pitch count...He has fired a ton of pitches his last three games, but he did get an extra day of rest in between starts...Mets don't hit the LHP all that grat and Oakland would rather face a RHP than a LHP for sure...New York has won three games in a row and I can see a lapse for them here tonight at home...Healy for the A's will be out after he got popped in the face with a ground ball which hurts the power aspect fo the A's lineup, but he hasn't been great in the box  with how he has been hitting...I actually prefer him out of the lineup right to be honest...Mets are at the tail end of a long home stand and they head out on the road tomorrow for a long west coast trip...Mets will be trying to get things in order with home life and priorities before the embark on the west coast trip that'll last 10 games...I see the A's getting themselves a win here by a few runs.
