Analysis
It might be cool to take the Fish and Volquez, but the Cubs' pendulum has perhaps swing a bit too far. Miami got off to a lead and then didn't score after the first inning yesterday, and I've found those things to be contagious. Obviously the Cubs fell behind but got it done anyways, something that's also contagious, and in this case what we've got in the back end is a Cubs bullpen that's been great. Over the last week they're WHIP is 0.89 which is elite, while the Miami back end has gone the other way. They're sitting on a week-long WHIP of 1.56 and an ERA if 5.90, both of which are things we don't want our money on. I suspect people will like Miami as a result of what Volquez CAN do an the fact that Montgomery is hurling for the Cubs. Well, BECAUSE of the Cubs' pen I actually like Montgomery here, since he's a huge ground ball pitcher. In his last two starts he's had 11/14 ground ball outs in only five innings. We only expect five innings today, which is fine with their bullpen being in form. Volquez's last two starts have been brutal - he hasn't lasted through five innings himself and if that happens today this will be easy. Yesterday the Cubs won without Rizzo (he PH) - the Cubs are hitting .276 over the last week, which isn't awesome, but by comparison Miami is hitting .209. The bottom line is that the people that might over-think this one might be out-thinking the room.

In other games:
I cannot back Tanner Roark and that sh*tty Washington bullpen at any price, TBH. Feldman can be sneaky good, but hasn't done much with the Nats, so Reds RL and over.

In my continuing theme of good pitchers losing to familiar foes, I'd be all over the Pirates RL and may well add that one if we have marbles left. Leake is the only way STL can win - the Pirates have more chances to make things happen.

I can't back Matt Moore, but the Mets as a road team aren't overly appealing. I suppose if I had to "bet the board" I give the Mets RL a shot.

With the total coming down in LA it makes the Rockies RL quite doable. McCarthy has shown SOME cracks, and again, familiar foe.

They certainly love Tomlin, which without looking probably means Sano is out again - pass that one at -150 for sure.

I am scared to push the "Orioles over" button again - I don't like Odorizzi much and Tillman gives up long balls, but MAYBE in the bigger park the Orioles win again - it's all I could do with that one.

Give me the Angels RL only because Boston is just not in a good place right now.

The A's almost look TOO easy - I'll pass rather than be a lemming, in part to protect our recent good fortune.

They like Toronto. I don't. Hammel has been better since that really rough patch a month ago.

Tough to fade Houston, but that's where the sharp money is right now.
