Oregon at Stanford (-10) 7:30 ET FOX TV 2* Oregon The Ducks’ early season indiscretions continue to bring us line value and pile up pointspread winners for us. Since losing to Utah at home (62-20) (-53) net AFP and at home to Washington St. (45-38) (-23) net AFP, the Ducks have ripped off a 3-0 ATS run, covering by 8, 8, and 13 points. That is not enough to impact this line which finds a 14 point line swing in what the number would have been opening week. Of course, the 8 consecutive wins by Stanford and 6-2 ATS record with (+63) net AFP is a major contributor to that. In addition, cannot discount that Stanford has all but clinched the PAC 12 North short of losing this game to Oregon and to rival Cal next week both on this field. Credit the Stanford success that has come with the offensive duo of QB Hogan and RB/WR McCaffrey. Focusing on their exploits which lead to 37 PPG would be ignoring the Oregon offensive resurgence since the return of QB Vernon Adams and his fleet corps of skill position players. We gladly line up with the Ducks as double digit dog, noting that no game between these two in the last decade has resulted in a Stanford win by this margin.
