The most highly anticipated matchup of the season takes place tonight as Atlanta and Golden State battle for the leagues best record. Both of these clubs have been money makers this season but we will back the home underdog tonight. Golden State has been terrific at home but haven’t played nearly as consistent on the road. Many are giving the edge here to the Warriors out of the tougher western conference, and we can agree with that in a prolonged series. But this game is a one off and Atlanta has won 20 of 21 games entering this contest. In our mind the west over the east calculation was already in the line when Atlanta was released as a slight favorite off the opener. Now the clear value is on the host who has the backcourt to compete with the splash brothers.
