I have been betting on the NFL since the mid 1980's when I was about 14 years old. Back then, just like everyone I knew, I used to bet with Pete the butcher aka Pete the bookie who would have parlay cards mailed to him every week. It was originally those parlay cards that hooked me on the gambling aspect of football. I have moved on from my day's of using street bookies and on-line / off-shore books and now live in Las Vegas, NV where I am able to shop lines and always make sure I am getting the best possible value / line on my plays. I have always loved the game of football. I don't just wager on it, I live it. I played it from the pee-wee days thru high school and also played flag football as an adult. I have always enjoyed watching the games and even as young as 6-7 years old I can remember watching the NFL games on Sunday and calling my dad at work to give him score updates. I also have always loved fantasy football. I have been playing fantasy football since before the internet. My first fantasy leagues ever were salary cap leagues that you signed up for by mailing (snail mail) a page from a CDM sports magazines. When you wanted to make roster changes you would call a phone number and tell a human being your roster moves. My favorite fantasy football league was always the IDP league where we drafted 3 defensive lineman , 3 line backers and 3 DB's. An IDP league helps give you a great feel for the individual player match-ups. I now also enjoy the daily fantasy leagues offered by companies like fanduel and draftkings. On every level football is a big part of my life and besides my family it's my favorite thing to talk about, read about, watch and listen about.
