The Florida Gators are taking on the Virginia Cavaliers tonight in college basketball action in the NCAA Tournament. The game is scheduled for an 8:40 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. The college basketball odds for the game have the Gators favored by a couple of points to pick ups he win.

Virginia struggled in the beginning of the game against UNC Wilmington in the first round. But through defensive pressure and some high-percentage shots, the Cavaliers battled back and found a way to get the job done and advance.

Tonight they take on a Florida team that had a comfortable win over East Tennessee State. Many though the Gators would get beat in the opening round, but they cruised to a 15-point win after a dominating second half.

Devin Robinson tossed in 24 points to lead the Gators in the first round. They also got 25 bench points in the game, which proved to be a factor in the contest. Another round of bench scoring like that this evening could really make a difference in the game, especially if Virginia is clamping down defensively and causing the Gators some issues.

Florida needs to stick to being gritty on offense. Virginia is going to cause them problems with the pressure defense and the Gators have to find a way to work around that. Even so, their ability to score is enough to help them win here.
