The 2017 Super Bowl pits the New England Patriots against the Atlanta Falcons in a game that should be a solid one. The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday with a start time of 6:30 PM EST and it will be televised nationally on FOX. Currently the odds have the Patriots favored by 3 points. The total on the game is 58.5 points.

This year's game is being played at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. New England finished with a 14-2 regular season, Atlanta put together an 11-5 campaign with one of the best offenses in the history of the game. The Patriots have one of the better defenses in the league while the Falcons defense has played much better the last six games.

For the first time in four seasons, the top overall teams in both the AFC and NFC will not meet in the Super Bowl. FOX is carrying the game on television with the team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman,  Both Erin Andrews and Chris Myers will be reporting on the game from the sidelines.

The national anthem prior to the game will be sung by Luke Bryan. The halftime show this year will feature Lady Gaga, who had performed the national anthem the previous year at Super Bowl 50. The cost of a 30-second commercial for the game is listed at $5.02 million.
