The Pittsburgh Steelers are on the road in NFL Playoff action tonight, taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. The game is scheduled for an 8:20 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC. The NFL Odds for the game have the Chiefs favored to pick up the victory at home.

The start time for this game is being moved back because of an apparent ice storm that hit Kansas City recently. Moving it back must ensure everyone a safe opportunity to play the game in addition to people being able to arrive.

Kansas City has been the mark of consistency in the regular season the past few seasons, winning 22 of the last 26 games overall. Playing in the post season is something completely different, and Andy Reid does have some success following bye weeks in his career. Last week the Chiefs were able to get healthy by not having to play, Pittsburgh got out early ahead of Miami and cruised to the finish line.

This game tonight has the look and feel of a physical battle. The Steelers have the playmakers with Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell and it's possible the cold slows the Pittsburgh attack down a bit, but note that they will look to run the football. KC ranks seventh-worst in the league against the run and Bell is a very persistent runner that allows his blocks to set up before attacking the defense.

Chiefs QB Alex Smith is the methodical one, not throwing it down the field and always checking it down. Kansas City will look to run the football quite a bit in this one too, the Steelers are about a middle of the road team against the run. 

If both teams can move the football, this could be an interesting game. But with conditions expected to be a bit sluggish, it will make turnovers even more important. Kansas City is rock solid at home and if they can keep the big play threat away from the Steelers, they can win.
