College Basketball Odds
UCLA -11
Total: 153.5 points
UCLA has been an excellent story to date, racing out to a 14-1 record while clobbering everyone in their eight home victories. The Bruins score a ton of points, averaging almost 94 per game which ranks third-best in the country. They’re athletic, get up and down the floor and are led by youngster Lonzo Ball, who does just about everything for UCLA.
The Bruins have six guys averaging double figures on the season, led by TJ Leaf’s 17.5 per contest.
California is nowhere near the offensive machine that UCLA is. They are going to want to play at a much slower pace in comparison, though they do have some solid all-around players in Jabari Bird and Ivan Rabb.
This is also the first true road game for California this season, and even though it’s in state and obviously not the farthest trip they will take this year, having to go on the road this late in the season will be a bit of a challenge.
If UCLA dictates the style of play and runs up and down the floor at ease, they should cruise in this one.
