Louisville has the Heisman Trophy winner in Lamar Jackson, he accounted for 51 touchdowns this season and better than 4,900 yards of total offense. He’s a threat to score each play through the air or with his feet, but confidence needs to be restored here for the Louisville squad.
The Cardinals have lost two straight to end the season, getting torched by Houston and losing a close one to rival Kentucky. Prior to that, the Cardinals had a legitimate shot at potentially playing in the college football playoffs. Jackson will have to have his team ready to go and motivation could be key for this offense.
LSU has seen great opposing offenses all season. Their team speed on the defensive side of the ball will be important here and it features the Tigers team strength against the Cardinals offense. Jackson will look for a big game here, but it might be a grind it out kind of contest.
