The Florida State Seminoles are hosting the North Carolina Tar Heels in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The college football odds for the game have the Seminoles favored by double digits to pick up the win.

Florida State -11
Total: 70 points
Florida State came into the season ranked inside the Top 5, but after being crushed by Louisville they are trying to pick up the pieces of a wounded season. The Seminoles are the top-ranked one loss team in the country at No. 12 with several teams playing tough games in front of them, so there is a possibility they could move up a couple of spots.
But with a tough game next week at Miami, Florida State has to stay focused in this one. Carolina has very strong players in quarterback Mitch Trubisky and tailback Elijah Hood. Trubisky has thrown for better than 1,300 yards already through four games with 10 touchdowns. He still hasn’t thrown an interception.
Hood has run for four touchdowns himself and the Tar Heels have averaged better than 41 points per game as well.
Florida State’s defense could make this a close game. The Seminoles are yielding 35 points per game, the exact number South Florida scored last weekend in a matchup with the Noles.
The difference will be Dalvin Cook, who is averaging better than six yards per carry this season and has four touchdowns. Last week was the first time this season he went over 100 yards, rushing 28 times for 267 yards, an average of 9.5 yards per carry. UNC has been gashed this season against the run, giving up 289 to Georgia, 182 to Illinois, 209 to James Madison and 281 to Pitt last week.
