Texas A&M has cracked the Top 10 nationally after a 3-0 start to the campaign, it’s worth noting they jumped seven full spots in the AP Poll this week. The Aggies fell behind Auburn early last week but swiftly took control of the game and out-scored Auburn 26-9 the remaining three quarters.
Arkansas is also 3-0 on the year, the Hogs own a great regular season win already having gone to TCU and beating the Horned Frogs a few weeks back. Both the Razorbacks and Aggies are looking to become a top contender to Alabama in the SEC West, something Texas A&M has tried to accomplish for a handful of years now.
A win here would give Kevin Sumlin’s team a third consecutive 4-0 start. The defensive line, led by Myles Garrett, will play a big role in this one against an inexperienced Arkansas offensive line. Even so, the Hogs can pound the football with Rawleigh Williams III, who is averaging five yards per carry. This game is being played in Jerry’s World and the Hogs are looking for an impressive performance.
Texas A&M is strong offensively and quarterback Trevor Knight could be in for a big game on a neutral site.
