The NFL Preseason continues on Sunday afternoon when the San Diego Chargers take on the Minnesota Vikings. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Vikings favored by right around a touchdown to pick up the victory.

Nearly all of the talk around the San Diego Chargers has been about the lack of Joey Bosa in camp. Now that has been dragged into the media, which only makes it worse, and it seems like both sides are entrenched in their respective ways, unwilling to make this work. Because of that, Bosa will be at least a handful of weeks behind and is certainly costing his team in the process.

San Diego is 1-1 to start the preseason, they opened with a 27-10 loss at Tennessee but rebounded to beat Arizona 19-3 last week. The Chargers have gotten some strong quarterback play out of both Kellen Clemens and Mike Bercovici, Zach Mettenberger is also in on trying to earn the backup spot behind Philip Rivers.

Minnesota has no issues at quarterback or running back, Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson have both of those positions locked up. Minnesota picked up wins over Cincinnati and Seattle in close contests, both of which came on the road. 

The Vikes are a solid favorite here at home, it’s going to take another nice effort from the Minnesota defense in this one.
