Western Conference Finals Game 5 Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. The contest is scheduled for a 9:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Warriors favored by a handful of possessions to pick up the win.

NBA Playoff Odds
Golden State -7
Total: 220.5 points

Golden State hasn't looked like itself this series, but there's little doubt that Steph Curry is banged up. Whether or not he's healthy enough to play isn't the problem, because he's still a major factor every minute he's on the floor.

Yet, here the Warriors are, facing elimination. Oklahoma City has taken advantage of having Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook both playing well and being two of the best three guys on the floor at all times. OKC has already picked up a win on the Warriors' home floor this series, so being intimidated tonight won't be an issue for them.

Billy Donovan's group could take a strong approach to tonight's game. It's tough to see them winning twice in Golden State in such a short period of time, plus Golden State should be fired up to play at home because it seriously could be the final time they take the floor there this season.

Oklahoma City has proven they are no joke this post season. The Thunder lost the opening two out of three to the Spurs but then caught fire and peeled off three straight wins, plus they won Game 1 over Golden State. The last two wins for the Thunder have come by a combined 52 points, giving them a commanding 3-1 series lead behind strong play. All five starters, and Dion Waiters off the bench, scored in double digits last game. That spreading of the basketball has proven to be a successful one for the Thunder, but can they keep it up here in Oakland?

Golden State is too good to lose here tonight. The game will be close, but in the end the Warriors will make too many shots.
