The Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Portland Trail Blazers tonight in NBA Playoff action. The game is scheduled for a 10:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBA TV. Currently the NBA Playoff Odds for the game have the Trail Blazers favored to pick up the victory on the road.

This series is over. Los Angeles is simply not good enough to win two of the next three games without its two best players in Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. It’s too bad the Clippers got dealt another terrible blow again this post season. When fully healthy, the Clippers are good enough to at least contend in a series with the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors.

And with the uncertainty of Steph Curry’s injury, a 100 percent Paul with Griffin on the floor was the Clippers best shot to potentially take out the Warriors. Now? There’s no chance.

So the focus turns to Portland, which was terrible on the road during the regular season. Portland won each of the last two games, both of which were contests where both teams were held under 100 points. Portland will be running wild tonight with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum playing well.

The Clippers still have some talent without their two best players, but they are really up against it. Tonight the Trail Blazers pick up a big win.
