The Oklahoma City Thunder are hosting the Dallas Mavericks tonight in Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Thunder favored to pick up a win and end the series.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are a single game away from moving on to the second round. That win could, and should, come tonight over a Dallas Mavericks team that is on its last leg. The Mavs have not been able to get it figured out and Oklahoma City has picked up three victories by scoring well over 100 points.

The lone Dallas win was an 85-84 victory in Game 2 in Oklahoma City, a game where the Thunder could get nothing going and still almost won the game at the buzzer.

Tonight, Kevin Durant will look to rebound from being ejected in Game 4. This series has not been a comfortable one for either team, it’s been chippy and tonight should be more of the same. After last game Durant said he didn’t think either team was trying to hurt the other, it’s just a result of a pair of competitive teams.

Enes Kanter was a major factor in the Thunder’s last win, he scored 28 points, which was a new playoff high for him. The previous high game came in Game 3, where he posted 21. If Kanter is bringing a major impact to the game, Oklahoma City is going to be in a great position.

Dallas has put together three straight decent games, but it hasn’t been enough to overcome the Thunder. Expect more of the same tonight.
