NBA Playoffs Miami Heat at Charlotte Hornets Start Time, Betting Odds

The Charlotte Hornets are hosting the Miami Heat tonight in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs tonight. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBA TV. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Hornets favored by a slim margin to pick up the victory.

NBA Odds

Charlotte -2, Miami +2
Total: 195.5 points

Miami leads the series 2-1, the Heat picked up two wins at home in impressive fashion as both games were high-scoring. Game 3 in Charlotte was not a game for those who love offense, the Hornets won 96-80 to pick up the franchises’ first playoff victory in 14 seasons.

Jeremy Lin and Kemba Walker both had solid games and Miami’s 30-point combination between the second and third quarters proved to be costly. The Heat hauled in 53 rebounds in the game, winning that battle, but the Hornets finished the game with only three turnovers.

The three turnovers in the Hornets win certainly gave them a boost, Miami finished the game with 14 turnovers, tonight it will be interesting to see which team wins the turnover battle because it’s going to have an impact on the contest.

Charlotte was strong at home this season, winning 30 games. The Heat were a pedestrian 20-21 and are coming off a tough Game 3 loss, this one tonight won’t be easy. The Hornets can even the series in front of their home crowd and if the starting five continues to play well, they have an excellent chance to do so tonight.
