In Tuesday’s game, Ervin Santana gets the ball for the Twins. He’s 0-1 on the season with a 3.00 ERA, striking out 16 in 15 total innings pitched. Santana will be making his second home start of the season in this one, he most recently lost a 3-1 decision to the Chicago White Sox where he allowed three earned runs in seven innings of work. Current Brewers are hitting .241 against Santana in 58 career at bats, both Chris Carter and Aaron Hill have hit a home run against him, but in few at bats.

Wily Peralta gets the baseball for Milwaukee. He has started off poorly this season, going 0-3 in three starts to date. Peralta has surrendered four home runs in 13 1/3 innings of work, three coming to the Houston Astros. The Brewer pitcher has yet to get into the sixth inning this season and he’s given up at least four earned runs in each of his starts.

It’s a small sample size, but current Twins are hitting .304 against him in 23 plate appearances. Oswaldo Arcia has a home run in two at bats, he’s the only player with a home run or an RBI against Peralta.

The Twins are listed as a strong favorite in this one, Peralta is just 12-18 on the road the last three-plus seasons in 40 starts, where opponents are hitting .274 against him.
