The Villanova Wildcats are taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels tonight in the Men's National Championship Game. The game is being played inside NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas where it has a start time of 9:19 p.m. and it will be televised nationally on TBS. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Tar Heels favored to pick up the win and claim the national championship.

Both North Carolina and Villanova have looked like the best team in the tournament to date. Now they have to face each other in what should be an excellent game if both continue to play well. Villanova is coming off arguably the biggest surprise in Final Four lore, clubbing Oklahoma by 44 points, which proved to be the biggest margin of victory history.

In fact, Villanova's 53 second-half points were two more than Oklahoma scored all game. The Sooners 51 points saw Oklahoma shoot just under 32 percent from the floor, including hitting just six triples on 27 attempts. Villanova just couldn't miss: the Wildcats shot better than 71 percent from the game, missing only 14 shots on nearly 50 attempts. They had six players in double figures and turned it over only 11 times, never allowing the Sooners to get back in the game.

UNC shot 54 percent in a win over Syracuse, hitting on just four triples in 17 attempts. That didn't seem to matter as the Tar Heel front line dominated the game. Brice Johnson, Kennedy Meeks and Justin Jackson combined to score 47 points in the game, the Wildcats will have to find a way to slow that down tonight.

This will be a sixth title for UNC with a win, the school's third under Roy Williams. Villanova has just one title to its name, the 1985 title in a massive upset over top-seeded Georgetown. 

A win here for the Wildcats wouldn't nearly be as big of an upset, and with the way they have played in the tournament it would be no surprise if they won. Villanova can win if they find a way to keep Carolina's front line from dominating the game. But the Heels are just too strong up front, second-chance opportunities will help them win.
