NCAA Basketball continues on Thursday night when the Oklahoma Sooners take on the Texas A&M Aggies in Sweet 16 action. The game is going to be played inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and it has a start time of 7:37 p.m., where it will be televised nationally on TBS. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Sooners favored in what should be a close contest between these two squads.

Oklahoma picked up a close win over VCU in the second round of the tournament, getting pushed by the Rams. Texas A&M probably shouldn’t still be playing, but the Aggies found a way to score 12 points in the final 35 seconds to tie the game, then went into a pair of overtimes and still found a way to win over Northern Iowa.

This should be an excellent game between a pair of strong teams. Buddy Hield and Oklahoma will be looking to take advantage if Texas A&M has that emotional “letdown” in the first half of this one. The Aggies could still be living off the impressive comeback win over Northern Iowa. They have a pair of strong players in Danuel House and Jalen Jones, a couple of guys that are athletic forwards that will have to contend with Oklahoma’s strong defense.

Both teams actually have really good defenses, ranking inside the Top 20 nationally in defensive efficiency numbers. The Sooners are better offensively and at this point in the tournament, you need a go-to guy that can get you buckets in key times.

Hield is that guy.
