The Utah Utes are hosting the Arizona Wildcats today in Pac 12 College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Utes favored at home to pick up the win.

Arizona is coming off a loss earlier this week when Colorado stormed the court on the Wildcats. Head coach Sean Miller voiced his displeasure over the Buffalo fans racing onto the basketball floor, but hey — don’t lose on the road and that won’t happen. Obviously playing games on the road in conference play can be challenging and losing is going to happen, but it really doesn’t look good for Miller right now.

His ninth-ranked Wildcats probably won’t get court stormed if they lose in Salt Lake City today. The Utes are favored to win by a couple of points and they are no joke. Jakob Poeltl is an NBA player that is a double-double machine. He will battle on the interior today with Kaleb Tarczewski in what should be a physical battle.

Arizona and Utah have teams that could potentially make Final Four runs this season, making this one a contest worth watching.

The Wildcats will look to push the tempo on Utah and get the ball to Ryan Anderson, a double-double machine himself. Anderson leads the Wildcats with 16 points and better than 10 rebounds per game and he can stretch the floor.

If Arizona can mentally get back to a normal after the Colorado loss, they can win on the road here. The Wildcats are 5-4 away from home and have some strong road wins (Stanford, Washington, Gonzaga), but Utah is 13-1 at home. Only Oregon has been able to win there this season, plus the Utes come in having won five straight overall.
