The top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners are hosting the Texas Tech Red Raiders tonight in Big 12 College Basketball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Sooners favored by double digits to pick up the victory.

Oklahoma remains No. 1 in the AP Poll despite losing last week at Iowa State. The Sooners bounced back and won a big road game at Baylor the next time out on the floor, giving enough voters confidence to keep Oklahoma at the top of the rankings. Tonight they host a scrappy Texas Tech team that has surprised some people with a 12-6 start. 

All six of Texas Tech's losses have come to teams better than the Red Raiders, five of those defeats have come in conference in mostly close games. Each of those have come in the past few weeks as Texas Tech has dropped five of the past six overall with a tough one on the slate tonight.

Buddy Hield is one of the leaders for national player of the year, he has lead the Sooners to winning on average of 14 points per game this season. The Sooners only two losses were both on the road and to a pair of Top 10 RPI teams in Kansas and Iowa State, both close battles that saw Oklahoma fall by a combined eight points.

Oklahoma has had no issues at home this season, tonight shouldn't be a problem either.
