The Arizona Cardinals are hosting the Green Bay Packers in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Cardinals favored to pick up the victory at home.

Nice late-season matchup here between a pair of playoff teams in the NFC. The Cardinals have the second seed all but locked up in the NFC, provided they win this game over the Packers. Only Green Bay can take that spot away from them, but it would require the Packers to win their final two games while Arizona would have to lose theirs.

Green Bay is not an exceptional road team, Aaron Rodgers and the gang will have to score points in order to hang around in this one. Arizona owns eight straight wins overall, they’re 5-1 in home games and have out-scored opponents by 176 points this season, which ranks as the top overall mark in the league.

Rodgers has a lack of playmakers surrounding him, but it’s been good enough to win 10 games. The running game has been better and Green Bay will need Eddie Lacy to be great in this game to have a solid chance moving the football consistently. Lacy had a big game against Dallas at home two weeks ago but struggled against Oakland last week. He’s been inconsistent all year but needs to find a way to have a positive impact on this one. If Lacy can have a solid contest the Packers will be able to at least attempt to throw the football. The Cardinals are a man defense that plays physical football, the Packer really have nobody outside of Randall Cobb that can consistently get open.

Arizona leads the league in yards per game and are second in the league with 31.8 points per game. Carson Palmer and the gang should be able to score here, especially with the emergence of David Johnson at tailback.

Arizona has the better defense, they are playing well and will get the job done in this one at home.
