The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Minnesota Vikings in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Seahawks favored to pick up the win on the road.

Seattle is starting to look more and more like a potential playoff team. Somehow they picked up a win last week in Pittsburgh despite giving up 30 points, now they have back-to-back road games here at Minnesota and next week at Baltimore. Victories in both of these games would put the Seahawks at 8-5. 

Minnesota is looking to hold off the Packers in the NFC North, though Aaron Rodgers' Hail Mary to beat the Lions on Thursday night has Green Bay really breathing down the top spot. The Vikings have been solid to this point in the season, but a win here over Seattle would make them look like a real contender.

Adrian Peterson has once again returned to his work horse form, he's piled up almost 1,200 yards on the year and has been a very nice complement to Teddy Bridgewater. Peterson leads the NFL in rushing and Minnesota is the top overall running team in the league, though the Seahawks boast the fifth best defense against the run this season.

Seattle is second in offensive rushing yards, though Marshawn Lynch is currently injured and not playing, which hurts.

Thomas Rawls and Russell Wilson are still able to move the football for the Seahawks. The Vikings rank 20th in the league against the run, Seattle should be able to gain some yardage that way.  

The early kick time for a West Coast team can be difficult, but the defense for Seattle should travel. They are the better overall team and get the win in Minnesota.
