NFL Football Pittsburgh Steelers at Seattle Seahawks Start Time, NFL Odds, Free Pick

The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel west to take on the Seattle Seahawks in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Seahawks favored to pick up the victory in this one at home.

Seattle is looking to get their season pointed back in the right direction. The Seahawks have struggled out of the gate, but have gotten it back to 5-5. A victory here over the Pittsburgh would put them over the .500 mark and give them at least some type of fighting chance the last six weeks of the season to find a way into the playoffs.

Russell Wilson and the boys aren’t nearly as good as they’ve been the past few seasons, Pittsburgh and Ben Roethlisberger are looking to improve as well.

The Steelers are coming in with some extra rest for this contest after being on bye last week, playing against a physical team like Seattle will have its benefits coming off that bye week. Pittsburgh has been pretty good when Roethlisberger plays as they’ve been scoring 33 points per game while he’s under center. He’s put up big numbers with Antonio Brown in the lineup as well, together they make up arguably the best QB-WR combo in the league. Brown has hauled in almost 30 catches the last two games with better than 420 yard and two touchdowns. It appears the gameplan has been to just throw him the football.

The Steelers might struggle with the road contest being in Seattle, though. The 12th Man in Seattle is very much a real thing and under Pete Carroll they have been extremely tough to beat in the northwest. Seattle’s record there the past four seasons is 29-4, they’ve covered the number in 21 of those games as well.  The offensive line is going to have to find a way to keep Wilson from getting sacked, which he has been 35 times already this year.

The Steelers don’t have Le’Veon Bell, but Seattle is playing without Marshawn Lynch as well. The passing game will be big for Pittsburgh in this one.
