The San Francisco 49ers are on the road this afternoon in NFL Football action, taking on the Seattle Seahawks. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Seahawks listed as a big favorite to pick up the victory at home.

San Francisco is obviously in shut-down mode. Colin Kaepernick has been given the "season ending" tag because of injury and now they travel to take on the Seahawks in what could be a knockout blow. Seattle is trying to find a way to get back into playoff contention, but it's going to be very difficult for them to catch Arizona in the divisional race. 

Seattle's schedule isn't the easiest the remaining way, making today an absolute must-win for them against the lowly 49ers. The Seahawks fell behind early against Arizona last week and could not get out of the hole, eventually falling by a touchdown. Even so, they trailed 22-7 at halftime and found a way back into the game.

Blaine Gabbert gets the start for San Fran, he led the 49ers to a win over Atlanta the last game which ended a two-game losing streak. The 49ers have back-to-back games against Seattle and Arizona the next two weeks and it's tough to see San Francisco being able to win either of those games, let alone one. 

Seattle is trending high, San Francisco is in for a tough rest of the season. Look for the Seahawks to beat up on the 49ers with their great defense and running game. Both Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch are poised for big games today. This game will look much like the 20-3 victory from Seattle over San Francisco a few weeks back.
