The Houston Texans are on the road on Monday Night Football, taking on the Cincinnati Bengals. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Bengals favored by double digits to get the job done.

The Cincinnati Bengals have looked like the best team in football to start the season. They currently sit at 8-0 on the campaign and join 9-0 teams New England and Carolina as the only unbeaten teams left in the league.

Andy Dalton has been having a very successful season to this point in the year, a big part of the reason the Bengals are 8-0. Dalton has completed two-thirds of his passes with 18 touchdowns, but the key is the Bengals QB has only four picks on the year.

Dalton has a bevy of weapons, both A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert have combined for 13 touchdowns, often times taking advantage of mismatches. Both Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill are solid coming out of the backfield, Bernard is definitely a factor coming out and catching passes.

Houston has been left for dead, but they are only a game outside of first place in the AFC South. Brian Hoyer is really the only option at quarterback and DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best receivers in the league. Houston has not been able to run the football at all this season, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry.

The only real factor all season has been Hopkins, Hoyer needs to target him as much as possible tonight and get him the football.

The Texans defense, despite having J.J. Watt on the front lines, has not been good. Cincinnati should be able to put up points in this one. They’re favored by double digits and they have new expectations as one of the last three unbeaten teams, but they should take care of business tonight.
