The sixth-ranked Clemson Tigers are on the road in college football action, taking on the Miami Hurricanes. The game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. Currently the college football odds for the game have the Tigers favored to pick up the victory.

Clemson has survived four straight tough tests, but the next three games will determine whether or not the Tigers can play in the college football playoff. Back-to-back road games at Miami and N.C. State then a game at home against Florida State will be tough tests.

Clemson has a great quarterback in Deshaun Watson, though he has thrown a few-too-many interceptions this season. Watson has 14 touchdowns and seven picks; he’s also scored twice on the ground and poses a big threat to the Hurricane defense in this one.

Miami also has a solid quarterback in Brad Kaaya. He’s thrown only one interception this season compared to 10 touchdowns with nearly 1,800 yards through the air. The Canes also have an explosive back in Joseph Yearby with 5.6 yards per carry with five touchdowns. Miami will need both of them to play well in order to hang with Clemson in this one, but the Tigers have one of the better defenses in the ACC by holding opponents below 17 points per game.

The quarterback that gets into a rhythm and plays better will certainly give his team an advantage. Look for Watson and Clemson to get the win.
