The New York Giants are hosting the San Francisco 49ers tonight on Sunday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Giants favored by a comfortable margin at home to get the win.

New York has one of the worst pass defenses in the league, only Indianapolis has given up more yardage through the air so far this season. Can San Francisco capitalize on that and toss the football enough through the air to make an impact today? Colin Kaepernick has struggled in the passing game so far this year and has five interceptions. 

The 49er offense has struggled to score points after looking pretty solid the first week of the season against Minnesota. Since that game San Francisco has just 28 points and they've been blown out in both road games, surrendering 43 to Pittsburgh and Arizona.

The Giants want to establish the run tonight, but they also will have no problems lining up and letting Eli Manning throw the football. Manning has seven touchdowns to just one interception on the year and firing it to Odell Beckham Jr. certainly has positive implications.

New York is tough at home and the 49ers have been out-scored by almost 80 points since beating Minnesota in the opening week. Look for the Giants to establish the line of scrimmage and pick up a comfortable win.
