The Oklahoma Sooners take on the Texas Longhorns in college football action on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a noon start time and it will be televised nationally on ABC. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Sooners favored by a comfortable margin to pick up the win.

Oklahoma is laying double digits against Texas in this one, which comes as no surprise. The annual battle at the State Fair of Texas will see Oklahoma once again look to crush the dreams of the Longhorns, who are having a bunch of nightmares so far this year.

The Sooners are 4-0 on the season, Texas is just 1-4 and it’s not going to get any better. If they fall to 1-5 with a loss here, they’re probably looking at 1-6 as they take on Kansas State in a couple of weeks.

There is a bit of a bright spot for Texas moving forward though, as youngster Jerrod Heard looks to have a bright future. Texas hasn’t been great offensively to date, but they should improve as Heard gets more reps at the quarterback position.

The Sooners should get another big game from Baker Mayfield, who will have no problem putting up big numbers against Texas. Mayfield has tossed for 13 touchdowns and almost 1,400 yards as well. He will carve up the Longhorns defense and lead the Sooners to a big win here.

Expect Oklahoma to put up points and run away with a big win over Texas.
