NFL Preseason Football Chicago Bears at Cincinnati Bengals Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals meet on the gridiron this afternoon in NFL Preseason Football action. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised live in both markets. Currently the odds for the game have the Bengals favored to pick up the win at home.

Chicago is 2-0 in preseason action, having picked up victories over Miami and Indianapolis. Both of those AFC teams should be better than the Bears during the regular season, which is just a couple of examples of why the preseason is tough to judge teams on. Cincinnati is 1-1, but did pick up a win over the Giants in their preseason home opener.

The Bengals held the Giants to only 10 points in that first game, then gave up 25 to Jameis Winston and the Bucs last week. Cincinnati's defense really got worked in that one as several guys looked solid on the ground and catching passes as well. Cincinnati did not run the football well and Andy Dalton looked like, well, Andy Dalton in his time.

AJ McCarron was OK in his time last week for the Bengals, three Bears QBs, Jay Cutler included, played just average against the Colts last week. Jimmy Clausen threw one touchdown and one pick in the win over Indy. The backups should get a lot of time on the field tonight and that could be a big factor in who wins the football game.

Matt Forte really hasn't played a lot for the Bears, but Jeremy Langford (rookie, Michigan State) has been very solid for Chicago. Langford gives Chicago a very nice backup option and they will probably look to continue giving him the rock tonight. The Bengals have given up 106 and 145 yards on the ground in their two preseason games.

Look for both clubs to look solid on offense tonight.

Movie Oakland Raiders: 2015 NFL Free Picks & Betting Odds

Vegas betting expert Steve Fezzik doesn’t expect the bad situation in Oakland to get much better this season. This AFC West team may have some improvements in terms of personnel, but Jack Del Rio is the latest in a carousel of ever-changing mediocre coaches, and Fezzik doesn’t expect he is the guy to turn this team around. He also thinks people are overstating Derek Carr’s abilities at quarterback, as he may do well in the fourth quarter, but his numbers are padded with garbage time performance.
