Pick: I will go with the Yanks in this game. They are playing solid ball right now and I feel they have the better starter on the mound. Iwakuma is off a solid start in his last outing, but facing an inconsistent Angels offense a home is a lot different than facing this yankees offense on the road. The Yanks at home this year have averaged 5.5 rpg overall and have hit righties at a .279 clip at home, while scoring 6.17 rp/9 off pf them in this park this year. That is not offense that the Mariners can come up with, especially since they are facing a hot Pineda, who has a 1.25 ERA in his last 3 starts, while at home he is 4-2 with a 3.21 ERA, plus he is 3-1 with a 2.02 ERA in day starts this year. Nothing to like here about the Mariners, so I will go with the hotter and more consistent team in this one.
