The New York Yankees are on the road tonight when they take on the Los Angeles Angels in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 10:05 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv. Currently the odds for the game have the Angels favored to pick up the win in this one at home.

A victory here by the Angels tonight would give both teams identical 41-37 records, which is neat. The Yankees have dropped two straight games on this road trip while the Angels have pieced together three straight wins, all of which were close games.

Ivan Nova will make his second start of the season after returning from Tommy John surgery. He threw 6 2/3 innings with 92 pitches against the Phillies last week, walking two and scattering three hits. He struck out just one but earned the victory. 

Current Angels have an average of .267 against Nova in 86 plate appearances. Chris Iannetta has homered twice, Albert Pujols and Erick Aybar both have home runs as well. Matt Joyce has six hits, Mike Trout has four hits against Nova.

The Angels will send youngster Andrew Heaney to the mound. He's made just one start so far this season, a no decision against the Houston Astros where he struck out five in six innings of work. 

Only Chris Young of the Yankees has faced Heaney in his carer, Young is 0-2.

Nova pitched well in his first start back, Heaney threw well in his first game as well. The Yankees do not hit lefties particularly well and we like the role the Angels are on.
