Major League Baseball Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Indians Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The Detroit Tigers are on the road again today in Major League Baseball action when they take on the Cleveland Indians. The game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv. Currently the odds for the game have the Indians favored to pick up the win at home.

Detroit has dominated Cleveland in Ohio recently, winning 19 of the last 24 matchups with the Indians at Progressive Field. The Tigers also have to feel good about sending David Price to the mound tonight.

The new Detroit ace has also dominated the Indians in his time on the hill, going 8-1 with a 2.11 ERA in his 11 career starts against the Tribe. Price has won his last three starts at Progressive Field as well. Current Indians own a .251 average against him in 227 plate appearances with Lonnie Chisenhall, Ryan Raburn and Nick Swisher all owning home runs.

Cleveland is now nine games back of the Kansas City Royals, who lead the American League Central by three and a half games over Minnesota and five and a half over Detroit.

The Indians will send out Danny Salazar to the mound. He's been consistent all season, sporting a 6-2 record with a 3.56 ERA in his starts. Salazar, the youngster, will look to stop the recent success from the Tigers over his team, but he'll have to pitch a solid game.

Current Tigers own a .289 average against Salazar in 128 plate appearances. Miguel Cabrera has seven hits, including two home runs, in 19 at bats (.368) while driving in five. Salazar has also struck him out nine times as well. Ian Kinseler, Nick Castellanos and Victor Martinez also have homered off Salazar.

The Tigers have struggled so far this season, but they could be catching Cleveland at the right time. Another win here for the Tigers would help put them back on track with a third straight victory and the recent success against Cleveland should have them feeling good.

With Price on the mound tonight, Detroit gets another win.
