The Tigers are on the road in this one, heading out West for a trip all week to take on teams they normally don't see. Detroit is coming off a four-game split with the Houston Astros this past weekend, which leaves the Tigers still in second place in the American League Central.

Greene, a youngster, has struck out Ben Zobrist twice in three plate appearances for his only history against any of the Athletics. Zobrist is hoping to be activated from the disabled list today.
Oakland will pitch Jesse Hahn, he's 1-4 with a 4.43 ERA this season. Hahn, also a youngster, has been having a tough time on the road this season. In home games he's 0-1 in four starts with an ERA at 3.52 in 23 innings. No Detroit player on the roster has faced Hahn.
The Tigers are the better club here, but they're coming off two straight losses in the split with Houston. Look for them to have a better approach on this West Coast swing. The travel isn't great for them in this spot today, but Greene will lead them to the win.
