The Cleveland Indians host the Cincinnati Reds again tonight in Major League Baseball action on Friday. The game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv as well as both markets. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Indians favored to pick up the win.
Cleveland was expected to be a contender in the American League Central this season. Yet, through 40 games the Indians find themselves in dead last in the division and nine games back form the Kansas City Royals. Surely it's too early in the campaign to fold up the tent and quit, but Cleveland needs to start turning things around before the Royals and Tigers run away from the rest of the division.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, is in a tough division themselves. They're sitting third in the NL Central, eight games back of the St. Louis Cardinals. The Reds are certainly no stranger to talent as the team is built with several solid players, but they haven't been able to put it together yet this season. Tonight they hand the ball to Mike Leake, who is 2-2 with a 3.62 ERA in his eight starts. Current Indians own an average of .149 against him in 67 plate appearances with no one having any substantial success.
The Indians give the ball to Carlos Carrasco tonight. He's 4-4 with an ERA of 4.98 in his starts, a couple of numbers that need improving for the Indians to be a severe threat in the AL Central. Carrasco has struggled in home games this year, posting a 7.11 ERA in three starts, where he is 1-2 in just 12 2/3 innings of work.
There should be some runs scored in this game tonight and Leak is a solid enough pitcher, especially on the road, to give the Reds a nice chance. In 31 innings on the road this season Leake has allowed just six earned runs on 19 hits. He's 2-1 in his four starts and has an impressive ERA of 1.74 in those games. Cincinnati is a live dog here tonight.

NFL Free Pick: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
According to professional sports bettor Steve Fezzik, the early bird can catch a profitable worm if they put money down on Green Bay's opening week showing against the Chicago Bears. With the line currently at -4.5 at most Vegas sports books, Fezzik predicts it will move to -6.5 come game day, as no one is going to be betting on the Jay Cutler-helmed Bears, so the money will pour in on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. With that being the case, time strike early while the iron is hot.
