The Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins meet up tonight in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 8:10 p.m. start time and the Major League Betting Odds for the game have the Tigers favored to pick up the win.

Detroit has been one of the best road teams in baseball so far this season, going 6-1 in their six games away from Comerica Park. Last night the Twins had the tying run at second base in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Detroit was able to hang on for the win as Joakim Soria closed the door. Tonight the Tigers will look for another solid start on the mound as Anibal Sanchez gets the ball. Sanchez is 1-2 on the season with an ERA close to 6, but he has thrown well against Minnesota in his career.

Sanchez beat them in the opening series of the year, tossing 6 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball. That win allowed him to improve to 3-1 with a 1.72 ERA in his last nine starts against Minnesota.

Jose Iglesias has been a real nice surprise offensively for the Tigers, hitting .397 so far and finishing last night's game just a double away from the cycle. This year he has nine hits in 16 at bats against the Twins. And he's just one of the several Tigers who have gotten off to solid starts on the season — Detroit is hitting .290 so far this year as a team.

The Twins will give the ball to Mike Pelfrey. He is 2-3 with a 4.54 ERA in six starts against the Tigers in his career against them.
